Despite the heat, everyone showed up to win. The game was pretty evenly matched, with Homer having 9 shots on goal and 8 penalty corners and Weedsport having 11 shots on goal and 7 penalty corners. Homer's Molly McMasters had the first goal of the game off a penalty corner. Then Weedsport's Kayla Flask scored a goal in the 3rd quarter. Regulation ended with a 1 to 1 tie. Weedsport won the coin toss and had the ball to start OT. They took the ball down the field in the first minute and a half, got a corner, and Weedsports' Keagan McNabb got a lucky shot on goal to win the game.
