Utica Academy of Science battled Morrisville-Eaton at UAS! Leading scorers for the Atoms were Juniors #3 Jada Morris and #20 Zaria Spratt with 12 points each and with 12 rebounds for Spratt, that’s her second double-double this season. Senior, Surayyah Monteiro with 9 points helped boost the score. 8th grader Leila Colón dominated with 7 points and 10 steals for the night! While behind, Morrisville-Eaton continued to keep in the game with #14 K. Doxtater starting off the second half closing in the score and finishing with 7 points. #13 A. Koehl finished as the game leading scorer with 14 points making crucial baskets in the 4th Quarter. #11 S. Cook and #24 S. Mbaga contributed another 6 points a piece. While the second half fight back was a well fought battle, Utica Academy of Science Lady Atoms were able to maintain their lead to win their 2nd game of the season, 44-37.
