I-Prep claimed 3rd Place in the Wilson Invitational Tip-Off Tournament and evened their record to 1-1 with a 76-40 victory over Buffalo Culinary. The Presidents were led by All Tournament senior Emir Lindsay who scored 25 points and pulled down 6 rebounds while blocking a shot and making a steal. Lindsay had 52 points for the tournament and was joined by senior Damone Lee came on in game two to score 17 for the Presidents. Lee was 7 for 8 from the perimeter and 100 percent at the free throw line. He also added 4 assists and 2 steals to facilitate I-Prep's offense against Emerson. Senior point guard Jaydan Daniels had a well-rounded game for I-Prep scoring 7 points, pulling in 7 rebounds, dishing out 9 assists, blocking a shot, and stealing 4 opponent passes. Junior Nate Alvira was 2 for 3 on triples, senior Nizier Smith scored 7 points for I-Prep and made 2 steals, and sophomore Raymond Jackson had 6 points, 4 rebounds, and a blocked shot. Junior Wilson Toe scored 2 points, ripped down 4 rebounds, and blocked a shot for the Presidents, while Adrian Fuentes, Bishara Lott, and Jose Luna each scored 2 for International Prep. The Presidents begin league play this Tuesday against Middle Early College.
