Holland Patent hosted Oneida for it's senior night in a rain shortened 6 inning game. Oneida took a 1-0 1st inning lead on a Nicole Armstrong RBI single. HP answered back in the 3rd inning with a 2 RBI double by Bella Shrader after a walk by Sophie Rachon and Terra McLaughlin single.
Oneida re-took a 5-2 lead in the top of the 6th as the rain began with runs by Maddie Baretta, Liv Wagner, Vanessa Babcock and Raelyn Barlow.
After 2 outs in the bottom of the 6th, HP went on to score 9 runs before the game was called due to rain.
HP was led by seniors Ella Armitage with a hit, a run scored and 2 SB, Bella Makarchuk with a 3 RBI double and run scored, and Terra McLaughlin with 2 hits, 2 runs scored and 1 SB.
McLaughlin also earned the complete game win, giving up 4 earned runs on 6 hits, with 4 strikeouts.
Oneida's Jules Caroli and Lexi Degroat each had 2 hits, with Caroli taking the loss on the mound.
